Bypass Lab is a workshop that was held in June 2016 at Sriperumbudur, a rapidly transforming area and town some forty kilometers out of Chennai. The main purpose of the lab was to experiment with the potentials in urban research of on-ground, empirical observations, using both conventional tools of observation as well as others that have recently come within reach of a general public.
