Following in the lines of the ‘Where is YOUR Chennai?’ installation, UDC got an opportunity to crowdsource community assets in Pondicherry as part of the Pondicherry Heritage Festival 2017. The installation was up and running for two days- 25th and 26th February, 4:30 to 7:30pm – opposite Le Cafe on the Beach Promenade. Pondicherry residents actively participated to showcase their neighbourhood-level assets. The findings from the mapping were subsequently given to INTACH Pondicherry who are coordinating a database of Pondicherry’s intangible heritage.
