In March 2017, UDC played local host to 27 students from the University of Sheffield who came to Chennai on a study trip.
As part of the role, UDC conducted an orientation through the Georgetown neighbourhood.
Following this, an orientation session was organized with presentations by Karen Coelho from MIDS, Udhay and Prithvi from Webe Design Lab and Vidhya and Abinaya from UDC.
After a rigorous few days on site, the visiting students presented their site observations and inferences on 17th March. It was a commendable effort given the many challenges they had to face- cultural differences, language barriers, Chennai heat, jetlag and the likes.
